Today’s social media portals market user data, have no effective way of detecting false news and are unable to reward value-producing users.

Sapien will encourage developers to produce high-quality content by rewarding users with SPN. Users can manage their token portfolio in the Sapien digital wallet, which can store any standard Ethereum ERC20 token. SPN can be used in a decentralized marketplace to acquire physical and virtual goods, content and services thanks to the services offered by our global reputation system.

In essence, SPN benefits from the competence to collaborate and recognise high-quality content across the entire Sapien network. The value test procedure will promote the quality contribution and reward users accordingly.

As users’ contributions are evaluated across the network, they will accumulate a score that corresponds to their reputation. In this way, the specific experience of users will be reflected in their respective communities. Within Sapien, notoriety will reduce trolling and dissemination of false news. The reputation system is typical of the SPN token and is therefore not limited to the Sapien platform.

Launch of the first Democratized Autonomy Platform

For a social platform to be truly autonomous, users must have real power over the orientation of the platform. Thus, one of the functionalities of the SPN token will be to give voice to users through an innovative system of proposals.
